The 2016 Festival

 

The 2016 Chesterfield Music Festival took place on April 22nd and 23rd at Rose Hill United Reformed Church and at Elder Yard Unitarian Chapel.

 

 

An All-Winners concert was held at the end of the Festival, where five trophies were awarded.

 

The trophy for ‘Instrumentalist of the Festival’ was awarded to: Anna Bagley

The trophy for ‘Vocalist of the Festival’ was awarded to: Sophie Benfield

The trophy for ‘Young Performer of the Festival’ was awarded to: India Dale

Chesterfield Competitive Festival of Music and Drama

Affiliated to The British & International Federation of Festivals

The Chesterfield Co-operative Choral Society hosted a fund raising concert** at the Whittington Moor Methodist Church on Fridsy 24th June.

The concert featured Winners & Guests from this year’s festival.

 

Chris Flint a Festival Pianist accompanied the festival soloists.

The festival committee would like to thank Chris, the Chesterfield Co-operative Choral Society and the

Whittington Moor Methodist Church for their support.
